CLUBE REDONDO
CLUBE REDONDO is made for, with and by children. It is an experimental playground,
where the chaos and structure of creativity is researched.
Entering an immersive theatrically charged space, the children engage in the world
of the Game, exploring journeys and mind maps, dream stories and musical shapes.
They initiate rituals and dances and start to become aware of imagination's role in
developing architecture and sculpture.
During each continuous 3 hour session, Mónica, Julia, José and Andrew facilitate and
guide the specific and organically developing performance of each group.
Devised and led by practising artists, CLUBE REDONDO aims to re-value, assert,
foster & reinforce the innate creativity of childhood
Created and led by Mónica Samões, José Pelicano, Julia Bardsley and Andrew Poppy. Working with four classes
from three different schools each day for three weeks. The children range from 6 - 10 years old
Co-produced by casaBranca (Lagos/Lisbon) & BARDSLEY_POPPY projects (London).
Hosted at Negócio by the Educational Service of Galeria ZDB, Lisbon
